Who Are We

Well, “we” is really just me! For now. I’m an experienced policy wonk, advocate, nonprofit executive, and foundation program officer. Scroll down for my full bio.

About Me​

Rory is an entrepreneurial policy leader who currently consults with advocacy organizations and foundations on a range policy, strategy, fundraising, and management issues. Prior to launching his own business, he served as a Senior Program Officer at the Gates Foundation, leading the federal higher education policy portfolio. Rory also co-founded Young Invincibles, a national advocacy organization dedicated to expanding economic opportunity and political voice for young adults ages 18 to 34. As the organization's Deputy Director he led a program team that achieved over 20 policy victories at the state and national level on health, education, and employment issues. He has testified before Congress on the economic impact of student debt and represented millions of students as part of the Department of Education’s negotiated rulemaking committee. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the National Skills Coalition and previously served two full terms with the Campaign for College Opportunity. Rory graduated from Pomona College in 2006 with a B.A. in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics, and completed a joint J.D./M.P.P. in 2011 at Georgetown University.
